ABOUT FOOD LICENSE REGISTRATION

Food safety and standards Act, 2006 ensures the food safety and regulations in India at Central level. For this, food safety and standards Authority of India (FSSAI) was created. FSSAI'S main goal is to seek public health through a set of guidelines and regulations in the country. FSSAI issues license to the various businesses. It charges a certain amount of fee. For the general public, an issued number is printed on their products. It works under the ministry of health and family welfare, government of India.

Documents for Identity proof at the time of Registration

  • Ration card
  • Voter id card
  • Pan card
  • Driving license
  • Passport
  • Aadhar card
  • Senior citizen card
  • Department issued ID
  • NOC by municipality or Panchayat

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT CENTRAL LEVEL

  • Form B duly completed and signed
  • Plan of the processing unit showing the dimensions and operation-wise area allocation.
  • List of Directors/ Partners/ Proprietor with address, contact details, and photo ID.
  • Name and list of equipment and machinery used with the number and installed capacity.
  • List of food category to be manufactured.
  • Analysis source of raw material for milk, meat et
  • NOC by municipality or Panchayat
  • Ministry of Commerce Certificate for 100% EOU
  • NOC/PA document issued by FSSAI
  • IE code document issued by DGFT
  • Form IX
  • Certificate from Ministry of Tourism
  • Proof of possession of premises
  • Partnership deed/ affidavit of proprietorship
  • NOC and copy of License from the manufacturer
  • Food safety management system plan or certificate
  • NOC from the municipality or local body
  • Documents related to turnover and transportation proof
  • Declaration form

STATE LEVEL

  • Form B duly signed by proprietor, partner or the authorised signatory
  • Blueprint plan showing the dimensions in metres or square metres and operation wise allocation
  • List of Directors/ Partners/ Proprietor with address, contact details, and photo ID.
  • Full address and contact details of directors, partners

LIST OF FOOD MANUFACTURED IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

  • NOC and copy of License from the manufacturer
  • Copy of certificate obtained under Coop Act 1861/Multi state Coop Act 2002
  • Food safety management system plan or certificate
