ABOUT TRADEMARK RENEWAL
Trademark protection is required to the renewal every after 10 years in India. When the expiry date of the trademark is near, you must file the application for renewal before 6 months. According to the act the renewal is always for 10 years, every after 10 years from the original registration date or the last renewal. Six months of grace period is provided for payment of renewal fee. It facilitates the restoration of the Trademark to the renewal register. In case if trader fails to renew the trademark, then he will lose the protection of Trademark.
